Ingredients:

  • ½ cup (115g) Unsalted Butter, melted
  • ½ cup (120ml) Hot Sauce (e.g., Frank's RedHot Original Cayenne Pepper Sauce, Tabasco), plus more to taste
  • 1 Tablespoon (15ml) White Vinegar
  • ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) Worcestershire Sauce
  • ⅛ teaspoon (pinch) Garlic Powder
  • ⅛ teaspoon (pinch) Cayenne Pepper (optional, for extra heat)
  • Pinch of Salt, to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, whisk together melted butter, hot sauce, white vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, cayenne pepper (if using), and salt.
  2. Place the saucepan over medium-low heat. Bring the sauce to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  3. Let the sauce simmer for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, to allow the flavors to meld together. Look for a slightly thickened consistency.
  4. Remove the sauce from the heat and taste. Adjust the seasonings to your liking. Add more hot sauce for more heat, or a pinch more salt for balance.
  5. While the sauce is simmering, prepare your wings according to your preferred method (baked, fried, air-fried). Once cooked, toss the hot wings immediately with the warm sauce until evenly coated.
  6. Serve your saucy wings hot and enjoy!
