Ingredients:
- 1 cup (240ml) Ketchup
- 2-4 tablespoons (30-60ml) Prepared Horseradish
- 2 tablespoons (30ml) Fresh Lemon Juice
- 1 teaspoon (5ml) Worcestershire Sauce
- ½ teaspoon (2.5ml) Hot Sauce
- Pinch of Salt (to taste)
- Pinch of Black Pepper (freshly ground, to taste)
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, add the ketchup, horseradish, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, and hot sauce.
- Whisk until all ingredients are fully combined and the mixture is smooth.
- Add a pinch of salt and pepper. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed, adding more horseradish for heat, lemon juice for brightness, or ketchup for sweetness.
- For best flavour, cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavours to meld. This also allows the horseradish to mellow slightly.
- Serve immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
