Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (120ml) Heavy Cream (Heavy Whipping Cream)
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) Milk (2% or Whole)
  • 1-2 tbsp (15-30ml) Simple Syrup
  • Pinch of Salt (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Ensure heavy cream and milk are well chilled for optimal foaming.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, cold milk, simple syrup (or flavoring), and a pinch of salt (if using).
  3. Using your preferred method (milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk), aerate the mixture until it thickens and forms a stable, velvety foam. This usually takes 1-3 minutes with a frother or blender, and considerably longer by hand.
  4. The foam should be thick enough to hold its shape but still pourable. It should resemble melted ice cream.
  5. Gently spoon the cold foam over your favorite iced coffee, latte, or other beverage.
