Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (120ml) Heavy Cream (Heavy Whipping Cream)
- 1/4 cup (60ml) Milk (2% or Whole)
- 1-2 tbsp (15-30ml) Simple Syrup
- Pinch of Salt (optional)
Instructions:
- Ensure heavy cream and milk are well chilled for optimal foaming.
- In a small bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, cold milk, simple syrup (or flavoring), and a pinch of salt (if using).
- Using your preferred method (milk frother, immersion blender, or whisk), aerate the mixture until it thickens and forms a stable, velvety foam. This usually takes 1-3 minutes with a frother or blender, and considerably longer by hand.
- The foam should be thick enough to hold its shape but still pourable. It should resemble melted ice cream.
- Gently spoon the cold foam over your favorite iced coffee, latte, or other beverage.
