  • 1/2 cup (75g) jicama, peeled and diced
  • 1/2 cup (75g) cucumber, peeled and diced
  • 1/4 cup (30g) Japanese peanuts, roughly chopped
  • 1/4 cup (30g) cueritos (pickled pork skin), cut into small pieces (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) chamoy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) Valentina hot sauce
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) lime juice, freshly squeezed
  • 2 tamarind candy sticks (Pulparindo or similar), crumbled
  • 1/4 cup (15g) shredded lettuce (optional)
  • Tajin Clásico seasoning, to taste

Instructions:

  1. Dice the jicama and cucumber into small, even cubes. Shred the lettuce (if using).
  2. Carefully open the bag of Tostitos horizontally.
  3. Add the jicama, cucumber, peanuts, cueritos (if using), and shredded lettuce (if using) to the bag of chips, distributing them evenly.
  4. Drizzle the chamoy sauce and Valentina hot sauce over the mixture. Squeeze the lime juice over everything.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled tamarind candy over the Tostilocos.
  6. Gently shake the bag to distribute the ingredients. Alternatively, you can use a spoon or fork to mix everything together. Sprinkle with Tajin to taste. Enjoy immediately!
