Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (120 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • ½ cup (100 g) granulated sugar
  • ¼ cup (60 ml) whole milk
  • 1/3 cup (80 ml) vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup (240 ml) sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 cup (240 ml) evaporated milk
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy cream
  • 1 cup (240 ml) heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tbsp (30 g) powdered sugar
  • ½ tsp vanilla extract
  • Ground cinnamon, for garnish

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour and baking powder.
  3. In another bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until fluffy. Gradually stir in the milk, oil, and vanilla.
  4. Fold in the dry ingredients until just combined.
  5. Pour batter into the prepared baking dish and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  6. In a separate bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk, evaporated milk, and heavy cream. Stir until well mixed.
  7. Allow the cake to cool slightly, then poke holes all over the top using a toothpick.
  8. Slowly pour the milk mixture over the cake and let it absorb in the fridge for at least 30 minutes.
  9. In a mixing bowl, beat heavy cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until soft peaks form.
  10. Spread the whipped cream over the soaked cake and garnish with ground cinnamon.
