Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons (45 g) miso paste (preferably white or yellow)
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon (15 g) sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) sugar
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon (1 g) nori flakes (or ground seaweed)
  • 1 teaspoon (5 g) chili flakes (optional, for heat)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine miso paste, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Stir until smooth.
  2. Mix in sea salt, sugar, ground ginger, and garlic powder until fully incorporated.
  3. Gently fold in nori flakes and chili flakes, if using.
  4. Transfer the seasoning to an airtight container for storage.
