Ingredients:

  • 4 fluid ounces (120 ml) heavy cream, cold
  • 2 fluid ounces (60 ml) whole milk, cold
  • 2 tablespoons (30 ml) simple syrup, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon (2.5 ml) vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Simple Syrup (if needed): Combine sugar and water in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is dissolved. Remove from heat and let cool completely. Store in the refrigerator.
  2. Combine Ingredients: In a large measuring cup or bowl, combine the cold heavy cream, cold whole milk, simple syrup, vanilla extract, and pinch of salt.
  3. Froth: Froth the mixture using your chosen method: Milk Frother, Immersion Blender, Stand Mixer, or French Press, until the mixture has doubled in volume and is thick and stable.
  4. Serve Immediately: Gently spoon or pour the sweet cold foam over your favourite iced beverage.
