Ingredients:
- 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened to 65°F
- 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar, sifted
- 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) instant white chocolate pudding mix
- 4 oz (113g) white chocolate baking bar, melted and cooled
- 3 tbsp (45ml) heavy cream
- 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt
Instructions:
- Place the softened butter and the dry instant pudding mix into the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on medium-high speed for 3 minutes until the mixture is pale ivory and has a whipped, cloud-like texture.
- Lower the mixer speed and gradually add the sifted powdered sugar one cup at a time. Add the vanilla extract and sea salt. Increase speed to medium and whip for an additional 2 minutes until fully incorporated.
- With the mixer running on low, slowly drizzle in the melted and cooled white chocolate. Immediately add the heavy cream and continue mixing until the frosting reaches a smooth, velvety consistency suitable for piping.
