Ingredients:

  • 1 cup (226g) unsalted butter, softened to 65°F
  • 3 cups (360g) powdered sugar, sifted
  • 1 package (3.4 oz / 96g) instant white chocolate pudding mix
  • 4 oz (113g) white chocolate baking bar, melted and cooled
  • 3 tbsp (45ml) heavy cream
  • 1 tsp (5ml) pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1.5g) fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Place the softened butter and the dry instant pudding mix into the bowl of a stand mixer. Beat on medium-high speed for 3 minutes until the mixture is pale ivory and has a whipped, cloud-like texture.
  2. Lower the mixer speed and gradually add the sifted powdered sugar one cup at a time. Add the vanilla extract and sea salt. Increase speed to medium and whip for an additional 2 minutes until fully incorporated.
  3. With the mixer running on low, slowly drizzle in the melted and cooled white chocolate. Immediately add the heavy cream and continue mixing until the frosting reaches a smooth, velvety consistency suitable for piping.
