Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/4 cup sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 cups oyster crackers
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon ranch seasoning mix (optional)

Instructions:

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine buttermilk, mayonnaise, and sour cream.
  2. Add the dried dill, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley, salt, and pepper.
  3. Whisk until smooth and well combined. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
  4. Chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes to enhance flavors.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine oyster crackers and olive oil (or melted butter).
  6. Toss to coat the crackers evenly. If desired, sprinkle in ranch seasoning mix for extra flavor and toss again.
  7. Serve the oyster crackers immediately for maximum crunch, with the chilled ranch dressing on the side.
