Ingredients:

  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained (approximately 820g total)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (approximately 305g)
  • ½ cup milk (120ml)
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce (5ml)
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper (1g)
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder (2g)
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (25g)
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crispy fried onions (such as French's) (approximately 170g)

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the drained green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, black pepper, garlic powder, and Parmesan cheese. Mix well.
  3. Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  4. Sprinkle half of the crispy fried onions evenly over the green bean mixture.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes, or until the casserole is bubbly and heated through.
  6. Remove the casserole from the oven and sprinkle the remaining crispy fried onions over the top. Bake for an additional 5 minutes, or until the onions are golden brown and crispy.
  7. Let the casserole rest for a few minutes before serving.
