Ingredients:
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk (397g)
- 1 1/2 cups whole milk (355ml)
- 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix (96g)
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened (227g)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (5ml)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream (120ml)
- 1 (12 ounce) box vanilla wafers (340g)
- 4-5 ripe bananas, sliced
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, whisk together sweetened condensed milk and whole milk until well combined.
- Whisk in the instant vanilla pudding mix until smooth. Set aside for a few minutes to thicken slightly.
- In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese with an electric mixer until smooth and creamy.
- Gradually add the cream cheese to the pudding mixture, beating until fully incorporated and smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Gently fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
- Arrange a layer of vanilla wafers on the bottom of the baking dish.
- Top with a layer of sliced bananas.
- Spread a layer of the pudding mixture over the bananas.
- Repeat layers of vanilla wafers, bananas, and pudding until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of pudding on top.
- Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld and the wafers to soften.
- Just before serving, you can garnish with extra vanilla wafers or banana slices, if desired. Serve and enjoy this delicious banana pudding with cream cheese.
