Instructions:
- Combine the melted butter, powdered sugar, and 1 cup of peanut butter in a bowl. Mix until the mixture transforms into a smooth, cohesive paste.
- Press the mixture firmly into a parchment-lined 8x8 inch baking pan, ensuring the edges are packed tight to prevent gaps.
- Place chocolate chips and 1/4 cup of peanut butter in a microwave-safe glass bowl.
- Heat the chocolate mixture in 20-second intervals, stirring between each burst, until the mixture is glossy and streak-free.
- Pour the chocolate over the peanut butter base and spread evenly with a spatula until the edges are sealed.
- Place the pan in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours to allow the fats to stabilize and the chocolate to crystallize.
